Valentina Pergher

C.E.O., WEBSITE MANAGER, CONTEST JUDGE

Valentina Pergher is a researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience at Harvard University. Her work focuses on brain plasticity through the use of different techniques and paradigms with the aim of giving a better quality of life. In parallel to her work, Valentina has always had a passion for cinema and short films, reason that led her to carry out this project. Furthermore, as founder of the website, an objective she intends to achieve is to ‘give visibility’ to anyone who wants to have the opportunity to show their work and get noticed internationally.

OnKee Min

COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST, WEBSITE MANAGER

OnKee Min is an alumna of the University of Pittsburgh. In films and other media art, she loves to learn about people’s stories and their backgrounds and she hopes to one day translate this appreciation into a potential career in consumer research and/or engineering psychology.

Isabel Salichs

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

Isabel was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but spent the last six years living in Washington, DC, studying and working in the legal field. While in DC she got to explore the great art scene the city has to offer and became passionate about short films. Now back in her native island, Isabel is pursuing a graduate degree in psychology and loves to explore the intersection between psychology and art.

Nele Vanbilsen

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST, WEBSITE MODERATOR

Nele Vanbilsen is a doctoral student in Neuroscience at KU Leuven University, in Belgium. Her research focuses on attention and perception, some commonalities with her passion for short and long films. She is also a Psychologist and she loves to hear about people and their stories.

Marco Consoli is a poliedric man. He loves art and culture, and he is a cultural promotor,

Marco Consoli is a multifaceted man, lover of art and culture. He is a cultural promoter, record and event producer, actor, model, influencer, painter, journalist, and much more.

Among the many projects of which he is the creator and artistic director, Vart – the Art festival (2006-2011) and VarTalent – Italian singing festival (2010-2019) deserve a mention.

Roberto Gallina

VIDEO SPECIALIST, CONTEST JUDGE

Roberto Gallina graduated in New Media and Design, and through an internship at the London Film Academy he specialized in Cinema. He works as a freelancer for television, fiction and TV series, collaborating with various productions and film commissions on the Italian territory. In 2016 he founded Videocrazia (https://www.videocrazia.com/about/), his production company for which he works as a director and director of photography. In 2018, he won at the Innuendo International Film Festival with a video produced for a well-known hip hop artist from NYC.

Luigi Benvisto

VIDEO SPECIALIST, CONTEST JUDGE

Luigi Benvisto is an italian cinematographer that moved around quite a bit, Rome, New York, Atlanta, Alaska, and Los Angeles. more recently, he was the cinematographer for the short movie “Cloud Kumo”, which won the student academy silver prize and the golden eagle awards. last, but not less important, Luigi has extensive knowledge in cinematography, editing, directing, writing and graphic, and he is a professor with over 7 years of experience in teaching.

Claudio Zagarini

VIDEO SPECIALIST, CONTEST JUDGE

Claudio Zagarini started as filmmaker in 2008 after a decade as Hip Hop artist. Through the years, he studied and gained several skills, such as director of photography, production manager, editor and colorist. Later on, he signed numerous Italian and foreign collaborations with famous singers and film directors at an international level. Ryan Licata

WRITING SPECIALIST, JOURNALIST

Ryan Licata is the author of the Joe Velletri crime series. His short stories feature in The Ram Boutique Vol 1, the Kingston University Press anthologies Ripple and Writings, and the literary magazine Storgy. After graduating from the University of Cape Town, he travelled around Europe, then settled for a number of years in the Trentino region of northern Italy. He subsequently moved to London where he earned an MFA at Kingston University, receiving the 2013 MFA Prize. He later attended the University of Edinburgh, attaining a Ph.D. in Creative and Critical Writing. Ryan recently returned to Italy.
